The Plover is just an excuse to get vehicles removed. FoOD has an awesome Access for All Lawyer but has limited funds to wage this battle. The CBD knows this.

Astro, you should be fine pulling a toyhauler on the beach, hundreds do it every weekend. Just follow the air down and driving tips. Off weekends, especially in the non-summer months are much more enjoyable due to the lack of crowds. Oct 1 to Feb 28 is prime season due to the bigger camping area. An...

My first ever trip to the dunes was at Pismo at a wedding on the beach back in 1998. The bride and groom had there pictures taken sitting on their Banshees with the ocean in the background. We've been going about 5 times a years ever since and have never looked back! I still cant get enough

I know what you mean. nice park but cramped. I camped at oasis in my ww slc3705 and had to get the guy across from me to move his car so i could make the turn.

On the grand Canyon. is that a one dayer, see it and go, kind of place or does it require a couple days?

Excellent report! actually, could be longer so feel free to add to it. We are also planning on the Grand Canyon but might stay in Williams and take the train up. I also want to see Lake Powell. Zion and Bryce sound good too.
