I seem to recall seeing a "leaded fuel additive" one time when I was walking through my local auto parts store. Is it legal to buy Unleaded race gas and then mix the additive to it? Or is that even sold in CA?

Depending on where you're going to and coming from, there's Sidewinder Shell on the CA side before you get to Yuma. They charge, and if you are continuing on through Yuma, hit Coyote Wash Chevron. yes there is a really nice Camp Host spot "behind" the Ranger Station. Jerry buzzes around in one of the donated Rhino thingies. They are sometimes inside the station but usually out doing stuff.

Unfortunately I was there that day. He was riding around like a maniac and nearly hit us several times when we were riding. I talked to Lynn last weekend, he says they always try to open the 1st weekend in October.
Ron is one of the biggest private donors to the ASA and steps up whenever something important is needed. He does support the fight in many ways besides just $$.

I'd be happy to submit these for the calendar....they are taken with a Nikon D80 at full resolution (10 MP) so they are close to 35mm as you can get.
