Precision Steering Stabilizer/Damper

Post by WoodIsGood »

I put one on my wife's quad, then after trying it for a ride I put one on mine for our next trip. I keep telling people "it's like magic." The bars don't get jerked around by buggy tracks, bumps, soft sand, uneven landings, etc. Yet you can easily make any sudden steering inputs you want. I can't explain how it works, but just tell you that it does.

These dampers are different than the much less expensive "stick" style ones - I've heard lots of complaints about that type fading, failing, or making steering stiff before effectively damping the bumps. None of those problems with this one from what I've seen and what I could find when researching it. The only complaint I heard was the price. But the improved handling and likelihood that it will some day save me from wadding up the bike makes me say I'd buy one again in a heartbeat. It cost less than a decent set of reservoir front shocks and I'm certain it makes more of a difference in handling, comfort, and safety.

I have no affiliation with the company at all - just a happy consumer.
