Is The 4th of JULY a big Weekend at Lil Sahara?

How big?

How packed will the Base (camping loops around) of Sand Mountain be?

The 4th falls on a Friday, so this will be a 3 day weekend...

Just wondering???

We are going to St Anthony (on June 26 to July 4th) and were planning on stopping by on the way home. Will there be room at base of Sand Mountain for 3 or 4... 60' rigs?

What do you think?

I know it gets crazy, I have been there on Labor and Memorial Days before.

Steve, are you planning to be there on Saturday and Sunday? Robin and I were planning to be there on Monday and Tuesday, 7/7 and 7/8, and drive home on Weds.

Temperatures for early July at Nephi, UT (east of Little Sahara) run low 90's in the day, mid 50's at night.

Last year we were DUNED OUT! and went a different way home.

I haven't checked with Cathy when she is getting off till?

I took two weeks off -- Thurs 6/26 through Weds 7/9.

The 4th won't be crowded, mainly becasue the heat will drive most local duners to go north to St Anthony where it will be cooler temps. I was at Little Sahara fathers day saturday and it was in the 90's and only saw maybe 5 rails total the whole day and a few atv's and bikes. Maybe 50 campers at sand mountain total.
