I'm Going Sept, 26th

Well sort of. Were staying at a Time Share resort in St. George 9/26-10/3. So it will be two day rides for us. Personally I think the dirt road is ok, you just have to get pasted 40mph and it gets smoother. Just pretend there whoops and skip over the tops. I think the speed limit is 35? So what, go for it. Once the three mile straight ends and you make the left you'll have to go slower anyway. It seems like it another three miles. Once you see the windmill the Utha border is just ahead and the road turns paved. Just make sure everything is tied down well.
Quiet time is at 10:00pm shape in the campground. You can't even have a radio on.
Two years ago we drove a rental car through the tunnel just to see what it was like. If you have a motor home and or toy box they escort you through, after that many many switch backs I can't tell you how many and at 25-30 mph. forget it. I'd try going south pasted Cane Beds the left to Kanab. Also it will cost you $20.00 to go there Zion, however one might stay a couple of days in Zion to make the trip extra worth it. They have RV camping there.
I can't wait :D so I'm going to Glamis for Pres-day. Dumont for Easter.

I'm thinking about headin up for Labor Day. We never camp in the campground, we always use the medows as we like that end of the dunes better and plus it's free to camp there. Cane bed road is a peice of cake compared to what the Dumont road normall is. It's only about an 15 trip on it anyway (and that's going slow); I don't understand why people freak out over it and I'm one anal S.O.B when it comes to babying my stuff.

Are you using Amsoil racing 2 stroke oil? I'm thinking about switching to it but I've just got my jetting spot-on with Yamalube at 32:1 so I'm kinda reluctant to swap to a 50:1 oil and have to mess with jetting again (or will I)?
