Good news: For those of you that use the Cane Bed Rd shortcut, there's about 4mi (rough guess) of chip seal down now. Basically from the hwy turnoff most of the way to the cattle guard.
Bad news: The rest of the road is still as rough and nasty as it ever was.....there's always hope though.

That was one of the nasty roads I've ever been on... We didn't think we would ever make it to the dunes... The man at the St George gas station told us about the "short cut" and the "well maintained" road.
We made it but didn't take the chance going home on that road, it is a huge short cut for sure...but if you break down, your out of luck...
