Moses was a blast...

Post by SandTazzem »

Just wanted to share....

I visited Moses on Memorial day and Labor day weekends and had a blast. I have a large group of friends that visit regularly and usually camp just up from the pit near the lake. All in all it was a good time except that some A-holes found my beer cooler and cleaned it out... and the guys right next to us lost their entire cooler. Other than that it was great. i did bust up my rail pretty badly (again) and my CR480R did ok untill it fouled a plug out in the middle of nowhere with no tools. (doh !!!) it turned out to be a 15 minute ride and an hour long push.... in the sand. Luckily a buddy saw me and picked me up.

Moses is pretty much the only dune in washington. Beverly is pretty small compared to Moses. I like Moses cause of the large amounts of jumps. Comp hill isn't all that much... i think its like 50 feet tall and sloped pretty shallow. but its all good.

Ive included some pics for you to see that even though we dont have alot of sand we can still party... its all we have.

Anyone out there know that guy with the dragster with paddle tires? i never did get to talk to him... or get a cloesup of that monster... it just looked dangerous !!!

Hey Mike,
No i havn't been to beverly in the snow, but i have in Moses. Im sorry, i usually go right passed Beverly.

Hey... have you ever dealt with Fabtec in Bonney Lake ? I am pursuing the change to A-arms up front from the standard suspension (jumping). Im curious if you have any feedback for me. Any feedback would be appreciated.... Do you have a rail also ? If so... what motor you running ? I am running a 2,300 CC Multi-Port EFI Turboed Ford... about 160 Horses...

I've probably seen you out there... maybe not! :D

We are planning a trip to wonderfull Florence in 2 weeks... but i won't have my rail.... I lost all my rear end in a tall jump out of the hole (the trench by the mud hole as seen in the pictures by the lake) and i busted the ENTIRE rear end... 5 welds.... it was cool... and no camera in site(Doh!).

Anyways... The next time ill be out in the Rail is on Memorial day weekend at Moses. Ive gots lots of work to do...

You are not truly drunk until you can't lie on the sand without holding on.
