DEAD MAN WALKING!!! ARTICLE

Post by dunersand1 »

What do you guys think of the article published on atv connection. The article was on the myths and legends section last month. About the man that appears near the All American Canal at the Imperial Sand Dunes, Ca. I totally freaked out because two months ago I was there with a couple of friends. While riding the dunes, we crossed this big hill that lead to the canal bank of the All American Canal. While crossing over the hill, one of my friends fell from his atv and broke his leg in three parts. He insisted that a man freaked him out and made him fall. We went and check only to find out no one was there. But he kept saying that a tall man wearing a dark jacket, light pants and dark shoes was on top of that hill. Untill today he is convinsed that a man was there. Today I came across that article and freaked me out. The article discribed the man exacly the way my friend discribed him.

The article mentions that the person that sees this man either has a terrible accident or dies withing a year at the dunes. Well I hope breaking a leg counts as a big accident, I wouldnt like to lose my best friend.

My cousin died on the dunes two years ago. We used to go every couple of months and I remember him telling me about a man he saw at the dunes. That used to say that he scared the S**t out of him and when he went back to confront him no one was there. He also used to say that he had really bad dreams about it. I dont know if is counsidance but he died from a fall from his atv. Where can i find this article?

I still cant believe it. When I read the article I almost passed out. I was at the Imperial Sand Dunes this past March. I was riding with my son and decided to follow the the All American canal to get to this bridge we know. On my way over there I saw him just standing there looking at me, straight at me next to the canal. I remember the brown jacket his hands inside his jacket pockets. He's head was kinda tilted down but looking at me. His eyes where deep and dark. I froze as a past him, but when I looked back he was gone. I have been so scared since I saw the article. My year is almost up. I was planning on going to the dunes next week but I am defenitely going to cancel my trip.

Welcome to the board dunersand1, marine69, & valentino.

Interesting story.

:-k More interesting that all 3 of you joined today, have yahoo email addresses, and..... are posting from the same IP address. Even more interesting is that that IP address belongs to the Department of Homeland Security.

Hoax, I think so, even without the more interesting parts. [-X

I would've believed the story if they said it happened at the haunted wash 16 and I knew that Camphost Ed was actually there.

Then it might actually be believable!

I spotted the three emails right away too. Other thing was the writting style and grammer were all similar for all three posters. Can't pull one over on this crew
