Never fear Tanken Is finally here...

Post by Tanken »

Hello all I found this site by seaching google for sand buggy information as I'm intrested in building a project sand car. I've noticed there is alot of good information and advice here so I think I'll be visiting this forum more often. I'm from Salem Or. Some of you may know me from Sandlakeduners.com as I post there often. I look forward to joining you all in the forums...

Welcome to the board Tanken :!:

Come by often and post away. We always have room for more.

If there is specific info you're looking for that you don't see, just ask.

Thank you for the greating I'm sure I'll have plenty of Q&A when I get started on the build. Right now I'm just deciding on a frame design with rough drawings.

Welcome Taken, good to have you here to reduce our fear. As my fear is now gone, I'll be selling my dog.

For your buggy, the 'technical forum' may already have a bunch of info that you're looking for, but dont be afraid [if you are, you can have my dog :P ] to re-raise questions that may have already been addressed.

You can also throw out some pics of your ideas [i.e. post them in your threads], and people will praise and puke-on you at the same time. It's good fun and a fast way to learn if you're headed in the right direction with your thinking!

As a matter of fact I was working on hosting a scanned copy of my first draft sketch. I'll have it up soon.
