Hi Everyone,
I happened on this site looking for a set of paddle tires for my Jeep. (still looking by the way). The last time I was at Sand Lake, actually on the sand was when you could get as drunk as you wanted, run with your headers uncapped and it was free. I want to get back into the sand thing again. Maybe someone can tell me why people I know prefer going down south to Winchester instead of Sand Lake. They all seem to have quads. I prefer Jeeps myself since that's what I have always had. I'm from Salem in case it matters. That's all for now.
It's been awhile.

Well since it has been awhile things have changed. There is a lot of sheriff enforcement now read these threads from the links below. Not as much enforment and more area to ride in Florence so it is safer and less congested I have been to Sand lake when it is so crowded you are constantly dodgeing quads It is a good thing that they are enforcing the rules more for the sake of being safe sometimes when I am on the sand I worry about quad riders that are not paying attention and having an accident with them

Re: It's been awhile.
I appreciate the input. I did go to Sand Lake once with my pickup just to see what it was like. Since then I have been going to Winchester Bay. I do like it much more. I still like Jeeps better, although quads are a lot of fun. I guess you get out of things what you put in. I used to do a lot of crazy stuff, now I just try to abide by the law. If you're illegal, you have to expect to pay for it.
Thanks
