Back to Ocotillo, Whats Different?

I havent been to Ocotillo since New Years 07', my family and I are shooting back out their w/ our toybox and bikes on 10/26/07. We are driving east on the 10fwy from the 57fwy, Anyone know of any changes that I should Know of? Thanks for the help!

SUPERINTENDENT’S ORDERS
Effective July 1, 2007 all ATV’s operating within Ocotillo Wells SVRA are required to have a whip with a flag attached to it. Please read the News Release for more information. Thank you.

There is also a very enticing sign to the road side of highway 86s that will possibly create havoc amongst the Glamis and Ocotillo travelers.

Spoke with ranger, Dump station is CLOSED till further notice. You might be able to dump at Desert Ironwoods? or maybe Blu Inn? But I'm sure you must pass many other places on the 10 & 86

We went out last weekend. More people than i expected out there, a little warm during the day but great at night ( Except ) for some JERK near Holmes camp that had music playing till 4 am. This just gets old.

Thank's again for all the info, but my better half got sick and we were not able to go(whos gona watch the kids?!) now we plan on goin the weekend of the 11/16.

She cant be that sick...Only kidding...You and the kids in the Desert would be peace & quiet for her ! I know when my wife & Daughter dont go I travel VERY lite. No 3 suitcases for the weekend.
