Do not miss out on riding around the trees up on the ridges by the coral, I think its way cooler than riding on the bigger dunes down by the campground. Have fun and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
I agree. The wooded area is way to cool however its a climb to it but I think the little ones can make it. Just stay to the left side going east and stay on the pipe to the top. 6000' ft. :)

Oh yes the beauty and wonder of those trails...

A few years back, over 4th of July, my wife and I went on a (double ride) quad ride with our 250r.

Going up one of the tree lined trails, we were wheel-ing up the trail.

I made her get off (and walk to the top of the trail), that 86 250's power band would just come on, and the trail was so steep, I figured she wouldn't like it much if I gassed it wrong and landed on her...

Those trails way south were fun, with the area almost going to Arizona.

Pink Sand dunes gallery now ready for viewing. http://www.iggysoil.com click photo gallery in left frame.
Enjoy.
Would have done it yesterday but there were to many errors in the html code. It seems PCs can't mix upper case .JPG with lower case .jpg oh well.

Nope sold the 3 wheeler last June. It would have been a lot easier to ride than 2 wheels. The sand is sooooo soft there.
